C.11.DBR:9 - Consequences
The reader can preserve a decision for one use while reopening another, retain completed work while challenging its expected benefit, and give a chooser a specific comparison question. The cost is recovering actual reliance and aligning the observations. Poor records or inaccessible contributors can leave that recovery unresolved. A short statement suffices for a small use; a broad dependent set can legitimately require more work. The Method does not promise that a replacement or favorable outcome exists.
