C.32.LCA:3 - Forces

ForceConsequence for the construction
Rapid correction and costly deliberationKeep a useful immediate response available while slower reasoning proceeds; account for the delay and information it consumes.
Local authority and coupled consequencesPermit decisions where they can be made in time, while preserving shared limits and commitments that local success can violate.
Detailed state and obtainable informationRetain distinctions that change the decision, including relevant history or uncertainty, without demanding an exhaustive model.
Predictive preparation and changed intentionsEarly information can remove waiting but can also reserve capacity, cause rework or mislead another decision.
Separate competence and joint performanceQualified components still need compatible inputs, timing, resources and continuation conditions.
Adaptation and preserved relianceChanging a goal, policy, model or learned component can invalidate a result used elsewhere even when its interface spelling stays the same.
Strong assurance and affordable useA conditional calculation may settle one choice; a stronger claim incurs the evidence and modeling burden appropriate to that claim.
