C.39.QR:5.1 - A field question receives a true calculation

An assignment asks for an account of mathematics and an appraisal of its completeness. The contribution is a correct multiplication. Its membership in mathematics and correctness support conclusions about that calculation. The required field account has a different subject and adequacy criterion.

Recover the intended reader and depth, then develop an account of relevant mathematical objects, questions, forms of construction and proof, and relations among branches. The multiplication can illustrate part of that account. C.39.WA supplies the constructive return from the missing organization to an explanation. A review of the calculation remains useful within its scope while the broader assignment continues.

If the original request instead asked only for the multiplication, its correct answer can finish the work. The difference lies in the governing question. The same content has different adequacy in the two assignments.
