C.40.NP:4.1 - Recover the changed starting position

After a successful transition, use the subject’s changed position as new input to problem formation. Recover what it can now notice, attempt, combine or question. Compare that with a consequential situation it could not previously handle. This can yield a further problem even when the completed project satisfies every acceptance condition. The new question is not an automatically scheduled repeat of the first task.

For example, a lead who can now revise a planning assumption may become able to notice that the organization has no way for another lead to dispute an inherited assumption. The next problem concerns the conditions under which a judgement can be reconstructed, challenged and renewed across people. Repeating the planning course does not supply that result. The new direction can require a different way of discussing evidence, a different information-use rule and learning support for another carrier. It uses the first result without making the first project endless.

Cultural continuation is a connected but distinct strand. Use the operative explanation, decisive contrasts and actual conditions from the successful work to make the practice obtainable by another carrier. Through C.36.RP, arrange reconstruction, first consequential use and renewal in that carrier’s conditions. A faithful copy can fail when those conditions differ. Return a useful new variant or a revealing failure to the common repertoire; preserve local differences that explain why the variants work. A shared employer or an organized community can support this work, but is not required for it.

When several occasions reveal the same costly limitation in noticing, framing, constructing or continuing, the subject may develop its way of developing. The returned result must make a subsequent worthwhile transition better attainable or less burdensome. Producing a new framework, helper or training programme does not establish that gain by itself. Reuse the same construction at that subject and purpose; do not create a new universal level of development merely because its object is another development Method.
