The finite model and channel catalog can omit a better physical realization. Sensor-resource prices are contextual, and error or delay bounds need engineering grounds. An exact mathematical result cannot establish those grounds.
The bounded-set construction favors robust guarantees and can be conservative. A stochastic expected-cost problem may favor a different sensor schedule or estimator. Neither answer should be presented as the optimum for the other’s criterion.
A compelling biological or organizational analogy can suggest a useful design question without supplying the engineered plant, uncertainty set or execution guarantee. Internal information reuse also admits different mathematical and physical realizations; a chosen block diagram is not evidence of a unique anatomy.
