CUST.8:11 - SoTA-Echoing
Platform-family work explains why commonality and variation must evolve together; service-productization work makes provision part of the offering. Those sources do not themselves settle a particular customer’s transition.
The complete SYSE.27 and SYSE.29 methods supply the technical compatibility and migration treatment, while MKT.11 supplies promise–execution alignment. Compared with a release-only decision, CUST adapts these results into one family-level continuation with explicit customer work and a full support tail.
Reopen the selected transition when actual reliance differs from the recovered use, the receiving provision changes, or coexistence consumes resources on which other commitments depend. No constructed example here establishes a universally cheaper migration strategy.
