IS.1:4.5 - Reopen the agreement when its working basis changes

When the target, provider, workload or recipient changes, ask which promise is affected. Preserve unaffected work. A new provider can change access and confidentiality without changing the target Method; a revised target can leave the same support relationship useful but require different expertise.

Return a workable undertaking, adequate direct help, a revised request or a precise missing decision. If the required contribution cannot be supplied on acceptable terms, say which result remains unavailable and what would permit reconsideration. Do not leave the recipient with an unchanged promise and an implicit obligation to invent the missing means.
