Harvey and Kitson’s i-PARIHS (2016) relates facilitation to innovation, recipients and local, organizational and outer context. The Method adopts that interaction and develops the action-to-owner return rather than treating its dimensions as a sufficient plan. Mi-PARIHS (2023) addresses the move from assessment to tailored facilitation. Its planning-tool and user-feedback results do not establish that the present composition is effective.
Ritchie and colleagues (2026) make the facilitating arrangement more explicit through dimensions including position, activities, flexibility and resources. Adopt the dimensions that change the actual choice; do not require the worksheet as a second plan for every case. These dimensions support design and reporting; they do not establish the effectiveness of a facilitating arrangement. A sufficient target-specific recipe remains the lower-effort alternative when it covers the real conditions. Reopen when a current treatment supplies a better actionable interaction or observations defeat a relied-on fit or mechanism.
