Implementation Facilitation Principles Framework Sources and Edition Notes

IS.Sources:1 - Keep source contribution and evidence reach visible

The Implementation Support Practitioner Competencies resource page provides access to the Practice Guide to Supporting Implementation, dated December 2020. Its helping perspective informs IS.1–3 and IS.5. Transfer beyond human services remains a question for the receiving use.

The detailed implementation, adaptation, process-evaluation and causal comparator sources are named in A.3.1.MI:11. Their adopted questions and transfer limits stay beside the Method that uses them. A comparator supplies a useful question or developed treatment; it does not establish the causal effectiveness, universal transfer or organizational feasibility of the local support strategy.

Harbor Design, the translator, the independent repairers and the other explicitly constructed cases teach operations and conditional comparisons. They are not observations of completed interventions. Evidence of actual use must identify the target, support, conditions, performed work, observed result and claim for which it is used. A locally useful result can be retained without upgrading it into a general effectiveness claim.

IS.Sources:2 - Follow the current source questions

IS.6–IS.8 develop the implementation-practice questions in the original helping tradition while keeping the general Core and professional suppliers explicit. Their SoTA sections state the particular source contributions and limits. The 2016 i-PARIHS and 2020 ISP accounts are foundational grounds; later work on actionable facilitation planning, competencies, working alliance and the specification of facilitating arrangements develops different parts of that account. No single source establishes all three new constructions or their effectiveness outside the settings examined.

The Architectural Reference explains the connected language and the consequences of these sources for its use.

The supplier-availability account explains what an unavailable contribution or independent source change means for the current facilitation use.
