KCAE.Reference:4 - Keeping the framework and its uses current
Start a revision from an observed limitation, changed receiving use, changed primary source or a materially better alternative. Recover the affected method’s promised contribution and source basis. Change the operative explanation and its application together when the useful connection changes. Preserve unaffected constructions and make a material new scope or assumption visible to readers.
A new retrieval model primarily reopens representation compatibility and its workload comparison. A new corpus format reopens extraction and reading. A new language population reopens recognition and assessment. Changed provider deletion or transaction semantics reopen the update profile. A failed encounter can call for a different occasion rather than another retrieval algorithm. A reader who must invent an essential connection exposes a publication defect, even if its headings and source links are present.
Evaluate the changed contribution through its receiving use and an appropriate defeating condition. Do not infer whole-framework adequacy from one corrected case, one unchanged supplier ID or a formal structure check. Obtain independent judgement where the publication’s governing authoring/evaluation practice requires it. Runtime evaluation under KCAE.EVAL supports an installation’s choices; it does not automatically admit the publication itself.
When revising a profile, keep its stable domain method unless the new evidence defeats that method. When a failure concerns transdisciplinary source selection, representation or inquiry, return the precise question to its existing Core owner. When it concerns an installed command or local service, repair that local practice. A new technology name alone is no reason to redraw the subject boundary.
