LDR.5:5.2 - Change the consequence, not merely the project name

Now suppose the compatibility inquiry shows that the adapter cannot support the intended installation. The maintenance direction has lost a technical premise. The maintainer returns the finding and its limits; the group reconsiders retirement, a narrower supported installation or a differently resourced rewrite. The previously declined contribution remains declined. A stronger appeal to loyalty supplies no missing technical way.

Change a different condition instead: the adapter remains adequate, but the integration specialist loses the offered time. Keep the technical result and reconsider the contribution through LDR.2 and LDR.1. There is no reason to reopen everybody’s purposes unless the changed burden alters the direction they can support.
