Library.Reference:1.2.2 - Use and translate the terms through their subject

In introductory Russian, «холоническое мышление о системах, методах, выполненных работах, знании и дисциплинах» makes the subjects explicit. The corresponding English phrase is “holonic thinking about systems, methods, performed work, knowledge and disciplines.” Use a familiar shorter adjective where the surrounding explanation preserves that subject and its operation.

Existing usages can differ. English “systematic” can mean methodical organization; it is not a substitute for FPF’s “system thinking.” Richmond’s Operational Thinking concerns how actual processes work and their causal organization. The French historical expression pensée opératoire concerns logical operations in Piaget’s account. Neither expression should be translated into the Work-holon application merely from its word form.

E.10’s lexical guidance applies the distinction in authoring. Preserve the source meaning, make the intended subject and relation clear, and use the full subject Method when a decision depends on its construction. The shared explanation gives an entry into that work; recognition of a holonic question and assurance that a particular whole satisfies its conditions remain separate results.
