Use this precision-restoration method when a familiar label recurs but the action depends on which subject or relation it names. The same word may name musical material, a way of moving or interacting, a performed occurrence, a recognition category, a teaching organization or a social event. The trouble is consequential when it changes what is taught, measured, selected, organized or said to persist.

Ordinary language can remain when the reader can recover the intended claim. A quotation can preserve its source’s wording. Neither a capital letter nor translation into English resolves an ambiguous subject.
