MDPE.Application:5.6.3 - Supply the missing contribution without demanding a different feeling

The next move depends on where the connection failed:

Present difficultyAvailable way to work on itWhat this can establish
The inviter keeps asking after a clear refusal.Demonstrate an acknowledgement and disengagement, compare it with bargaining, then let the learner retry the complete invitation and answer. The invitation can end without further pressure under the tried conditions.
The inviter wants another activity but has not selected an executable one.Compare the activities actually available now. Choose one modest action and try it.A wanted continuation has been selected and, if performed, made usable.
The selected break or departure has no accessible place or route.Ask the organizer or another responsible provider to make that condition available, or choose a genuinely available alternative.A provision change or different action can remove the external obstacle.
The person knows the action and has access, but cannot begin it alone.Ask whether they want help with that particular action. A willing companion can offer to walk with them to the chosen place, or an agreed reminder can mark the first step. Try the supported action only if the person wants it.Actual use can show that this support makes this action available; it does not establish independent coping or reduced distress.
The wanted action remains unavailable despite the help tried, or the aim is less intense or shorter distress.End the exercise if the learner wants to stop. Describe the remaining difficulty with them and obtain help suited to that difficulty before claiming a method for it.The current participation method has a specific unresolved limit. Repeating staged refusals supplies no missing emotional-help method.

Support belongs to the available situation: a willing companion may be occupied or absent, and an offered reminder may be unhelpful. Let the person decline the proposed support or select leaving as their next action. Another participant’s refusal remains binding throughout. Their reconsideration cannot be made the required means of the inviter’s recovery.

If repeated events suggest that the participation arrangement itself excludes people, investigate that arrangement through Application:5.1 and MDPE.5. Keep the evidence for that question separate from guesses about one person’s reasons. Improving an event’s access and reciprocity still preserves every participant’s voluntary choice.
