MDPE.Reference:8 - What this publication foregrounds and leaves outside
This publication foregrounds five connected problem families: selecting the engineering subject and style-development architecture; creating performance possibilities and preparing the performing whole; performing and making decision-relevant differences observable and selectable; transferring and keeping a reproducible practice; and developing the supporting environment, resolving practice conflicts, performing a selected local change, preserving alternatives, testing trajectories, and choosing the next bounded Work.
The Cross-Pattern Application contains worked teaching examples, including movement explorations, a responsive duet and complete fixed scores. They show how to connect selected methods under stated conditions; specifying a score does not establish successful performance or learning.
This publication does not provide a complete repertoire, curriculum, catalogue of performance techniques, event manual, software implementation, artistic canon or domain history. Use the applicable domain methods, sources and authorities for those results and for legal or safety decisions. The pattern bodies state where such results enter and what they can support. Systems Engineering, Human Capability Development, Method Engineering, Organization Engineering, Operations Management, Rhythmics, and other DPFs remain separate framework products. Check whether a usable edition of a sibling framework is available before relying on it.
