Systems Engineering Principles Framework

A domain pattern language for bringing about and changing engineered Systems, from their intended use and architecture to realization, assurance, and continuing development.

Begin with the engineering question that blocks your project: the project System and its use, an architecture choice, a realization branch, an integration result, or the evidence needed for a decision.

Use the Table of Contents below to search by a familiar term or working question and find the relevant PatternID. Open the pattern and apply its Problem frame, Solution, worked cases, and checklist to the actual System, configuration, or engineering decision. Follow dependencies when a needed result is missing; engineering Work may otherwise overlap or begin from an already available result.

The Readme follows worked connections between patterns for larger engineering questions. The Preface explains the recurring distinctions. The full Table of Contents also serves questions outside the examples, and the pattern bodies supply the working moves, conditions, and stops across kinds of engineered System.
