A.15.10:3 - Forces
| Need | Difficulty |
| Preserve the point of the work | The current position can survive after its purpose or governing method has been lost. |
| Keep preparation small | A complete history can be more expensive to create and read than a bounded reconstruction. |
| Use current conditions | A faithful old note can be wrong about what is available now. |
| Transfer work | The recipient may have different capabilities, access and responsibilities. |
| Resume without false confidence | Remembering an intended action is not evidence that it was completed. |
| Protect the main work | Reminders and self-monitoring can become a competing workload. |
