ADM.1:5 - Archetypal Grounding

ADM.1:5.1 - A completed journey and an unsuccessful negotiation

In this constructed case, an employee travels to negotiate a supply agreement. The supplied travel rule requires an eligible traveller, authorized expenditure, usable transport and accommodation, and settlement of the required expenses. Those conditions are satisfied. The parties nevertheless fail to reach the intended agreement.

SubjectStipulated resultNext action
Journey and stayThe employee travelled and used the accommodation.Retain the relevant provision evidence for its intended administrative use.
Negotiating workThe parties reached no agreement. The person responsible for the negotiating work decides whether to revise the offer, continue negotiations or stop.
Administrative handlingThe stated travel conditions and required expense settlement were satisfied. The handler may report that administrative result complete under the supplied rule.

The first useful account names these results separately. It does not repair a failed negotiation by reopening a completed hotel booking. If the accommodation had been unusable and the employee had arranged a replacement personally, the administrative account would instead retain that failure and the displaced effort even if the negotiations later succeeded.

ADM.1:5.2 - An ordinary request that needs no reframing

A requester identifies the eligible traveller, destination, permitted dates and existing booking instruction. The provider and completion condition are clear. The handler uses that instruction. Asking for another description of the organizational architecture would add effort without changing the next action.
