C.32.LCA:10 - Architectural Rationale
The arrangement is constructed from joint use because the consequence belongs to the connected system or work. Local correctness is useful only when the receiver can use the result under conditions the rest of the arrangement can supply.
Different time demands justify considering a division, not prescribing one. Separation is advantageous when its saved computation, waiting or coordination exceeds the burden of preserving the lost dependence. The governor case shows that a smaller change can preserve a qualified component. The exhibition case shows that changing a decision right can matter more than increasing message speed.
Goal revision belongs in the architecture because feedback can make the selected outcome unattainable or no longer useful. Its authority remains distinct from the ability to compute another plan. This prevents a fast local optimization from silently changing the promise made to another participant.
Model-based guarantees and organizational commitments remain different contributions. Both can constrain a design, but their grounds and failure responses differ. That distinction makes the common method transferable without importing a control theorem into an enterprise through matching labels.
The current arrangement can itself become the subject of a slower development activity. That does not identify every operational goal revision with architecture development: choosing another authorized destination can preserve the arrangement, whereas moving decision rights or changing the available interventions changes it.
