C.32.LCA:9 - Consequences

The reader can change the relation that prevents a result: the available information, allocation of a decision, command semantics, timing, shared capacity or the demanded outcome. An adequate incumbent can survive the comparison.

The method makes the price of separation visible. Layers can reduce immediate computation or authorization demand while adding models, interfaces and coordination. Delegation can remove waiting while adding qualification, communication and exposure. A simpler arrangement can be preferable.

Construction itself has a cost. Stop with sufficient grounds for the receiving decision; pursue additional modeling or evidence when a plausible result can change that decision or when a binding obligation requires it.
