A useful explanation versus a promising nameA familiar technique can guide retrieval while concealing its required inputs and limits.
Reuse versus inventionAn existing Method can finish the question cheaply; a genuinely missing connection still needs constructive work.
Transfer versus source fidelityThe receiving problem may require adaptation, but changing a source’s claim to fit the target supplies no evidence.
Sufficient understanding versus endless refinementA constituent gap matters when it can change the whole result, feasibility or burden.
