C.40.JD:4.4 - Change a connection and derive the changed arrangement

Local adaptation changes the construction, not just its names. Begin with the operative condition that differs; follow only the joins whose receiving result depended on it; reconstruct those joins; and compare the changed whole with the original intended result.

Consider a team developing its ability to frame and revise consequential operating decisions. Its first construction requires development of a technical calculation, learning how to interpret the result, use in a real decision and cultural continuation to another team. Two alternatives differ substantively:

Connected contributionLocally developed calculationAdequate external calculation becomes obtainable
Method constructionA subject specialist develops and qualifies the calculation and its limits.Obtain the existing calculation, explanation, limits and reliable access; local development of that calculation is unnecessary.
Development of the subjectThe team learns to formulate the question, judge premises, interpret alternatives and revise its own decision. Calculation construction may be delegated.Keep these contributions where they remain the aim. Receiving a technically correct answer does not replace them.
First consequential useThe local calculation and decision work must be ready together. The external result must answer the local question in time; unsuitable scope returns to the question or supplier.
ProvisionLocal technical development time, tools and qualification are required.Provider availability, confidentiality, compatibility and continuing access become material conditions.
Cultural continuationPreserve the local explanation and the means of maintaining the calculation.Preserve the interpretation and return route to the supplier, without teaching every carrier to recreate its technical machinery.
Organization choiceA temporary specialist team may be justified by the development burden.A local decision owner with a development adviser and an external specialist may suffice. An internal calculation office has lost its former justification unless another use supports it.

The changed supply removes one internal branch and adds a provider dependence. It does not automatically remove the subject’s development or transfer responsibility for the operating decision. Conversely, if the only retained aim was obtaining a qualified decision and no independent judgement is wanted or needed, revise the direction openly and compare a service solution. Do not retain compulsory training under a discarded aim.

A different change gives a different answer. If the external service fails the local confidentiality condition, the technical result can remain adequate while its provision is unusable. Consider an authorized local execution, a less sensitive input, another provider or renewed internal construction. “The Method exists” does not settle that arrangement. If an AI arrangement can perform the whole retained contribution with the required powers and supported reliability, compare it as a whole alternative rather than preserving human steps by habit.

For ordinary leadership without a separate office, allocate these same contributions to actual managers, practitioners and obtainable specialists. For a dedicated development office, keep it responsible for the development help it can provide and make its technical suppliers explicit. For a common service covering several masteries, share only contributions that are genuinely reusable: for example, access, practice design or maintained infrastructure. Preserve specialized problem formulation and judgement where substituting one subject’s standard would defeat another’s use. Federation combines these where common provision and local judgement both matter.

Use the same adaptation on connections omitted from the drawing: a provider’s authority may not extend to a voluntary participant; a learning occasion may compete with a production deadline; two branches may require the same scarce expert simultaneously. Follow the changed condition through the receiving work and compare the moved burden. These changes can alter the direction, the Method, its allocation or the service remit; not every failure calls for another organization chart.

When the resulting performance and provision arrangements still need comparison, use C.32.MWA.PP. Use it to obtain complete alternatives and their combined demands, then return that comparison to the choice in C.40.JD:4.5. It can use adequate existing Methods while changing their Work order, allocation, provision or provider relations. Constructing or changing an organization requires a Method for the organizational change being proposed; comparing arrangements does not enact that change. An existing arrangement that meets the present requirements needs no new architectural exercise.

Before relying on a consequential connection, distinguish a proposed requirement from an established relation:

Proposed relianceDirect question to settle
Work enacts a Method or produces a resultA.15, A.15.1 and A.15.PROD govern the claimed performance and production. A plan is not occurrence evidence.
A continuing subject changesA.3.4 governs the appropriate change claim; new epistemic content is not automatically persistence of one unchanged episteme.
A holder can perform the contributionA.2.2 and E.23.CDI keep the holder, work family and actual support conditions explicit.
A contribution is obtainable from another actorIts service, provision, assignment and authority relations need their own actual basis. A catalogued offer is not reserved capacity.
Methods or Work form a wholeB.1.5 and C.32.MWA distinguish constructive parthood, use, support, overlap and order. Sharing a result or adviser does not establish parthood.
Several independently identified flow structures form a selected networkE.18.NET requires their exact qualifying relations and bindings. No generic “transfer” arrow supplies them.

A small local construction can remain in ordinary language when it supports the decision. Stronger formal reliance requires the corresponding direct basis. The purpose of that qualification is to preserve meaning while making the undertaking usable, not to defer every practical decision until a complete formal model exists.
