C.43:4.9 - Use the control mantra to hold the reasoning together

The mantra orders questions for understanding; it gives no common clock to their execution. Use §4.5.1 to construct the timing that the actual work requires.

Assess the situation → construct possible continuations → compare and choose → realize the action → examine what happened → revise the continuation.

Each phrase recalls a relation developed above. Assessment is sufficient relative to the choice. Alternatives include future conditional actions. Comparison includes the consequences and means of the whole continuation. Realization connects a decision to actual change. Examination supplies evidence for the next use. Revision follows the dependency whose basis changed.

Use the mantra to locate the unresolved connection, then work there. A new observation can send reasoning to the model, a resource constraint to the alternatives, or a changed purpose to the comparison basis. Several answers can be refined together. The arrows give a teaching order for A.22.CGUS, not a one-pass workflow or a required first step. Use the fuller explanation and subject Methods when a remembered phrase no longer supplies the needed operation.
