CB.15:3 - Forces
| Force | Tension |
| Different purposes | Each practice has its own users, obligations and reasons for acting. |
| Small commitment | A bounded first task makes entry possible but must still return something useful. |
| Translation | Shared words can help discussion while hiding differences in action or evidence. |
| Access | Seeing real work can reveal its conditions; material and participants may have legitimate access limits. |
| Reciprocity | Both sides need a reason to contribute, which need not be the same kind of benefit. |
| Continuation | A successful encounter can justify more work, but its support and mandate may not extend to that work. |
