CB.15:5.3 - From a small exchange to a supported project
Two walking groups use different descriptions of route accessibility. A first comparison reveals that one reports the surface while another describes whether its usual members completed the route. Neither account alone answers a newcomer with a different need.
They work through one route with the relevant participants and agree which observations and limits a joint account should expose. Producing and maintaining accounts for the whole area would require more work than the first encounter. They propose a bounded project through CB.14, obtain willing contributors and the groups’ decisions on time and publication, and keep uncertainties about unobserved conditions visible.
The first route account remains useful even if the larger project is deferred.
