CB.4:4.1 - Name the result and the interaction it requires

Ask what should become possible during or after this activity. A case owner may need a justified next step. Practitioners may need to understand how another group handles an unfamiliar condition. Neighbours may want a valued conversation. These purposes require different closure and different evidence.

Identify what participants must do with one another’s contributions. Clarifying a difficult case needs questions and answers. Comparing contexts needs enough common questions to make the differences intelligible. Generating alternatives needs room for contributions that have not yet been evaluated. Producing a shared decision requires an applicable decision arrangement in addition to discussion.

Select the minimum material and relevant people from that action. Explain why each contribution is needed and what the person can use or receive. Include a missing perspective where it can change the result, and obtain the needed domain competence separately from facilitation.

State a limit early when it changes expectations. A forum answer can guide a next inquiry without promising an urgent professional response. A discussion can expose disagreement without settling it. A pleasant shared activity can be useful without demonstrating that anyone learned a skill.
