CHK.4:1 - Problem frame
Use this when a checklist is being used on an actual occasion, or an earlier answer is being considered for reuse. The list may be familiar, but the cards, description, room or software state can have changed.
This Method obtains answers with sufficient grounds for their intended use and informs a separate next action. Start by identifying the subject and the question actually being answered now. The useful result can be Yes, No, an unresolved answer, an applicable existing result, or a missing contribution. A positive completion record is only one possible outcome.
Use CHK.1 or CHK.6 when the questions or checking means lack a sufficient basis. Use the work’s ordinary decision or authorization arrangement when a consequential next action calls for it.
