Edition and citation

The public name is Checklist Principles Framework. Checklist DPF is a descriptive short form; CHK is its citation code.

Cite a pattern as “Checklist Principles Framework, CHK.4.” Add “first edition, 2026-09-25” when the reference selects this edition’s body. CHK.1–CHK.6 identify the six practical answers collected here; their numeric order is a finding aid. A later title or publication-order change can preserve an identifier while the same practical answer continues. A split, replacement or retirement calls for an explicit reader return rather than reuse of the identifier for an unrelated answer.

This first edition covers the selection, construction, fitting, use, reconciliation and qualification of checklists in human, AI and mixed professional work. Its Readme, Preface, applications and source account support the same use. Its examples are constructed cases, and any claim of effectiveness in a particular field calls for evidence about that field and arrangement.
