CUST.8:2 - Problem
A new common version can work well while making existing customers unable to obtain their agreed result. It may change a calculation’s meaning, remove a needed specialist, require new customer work or end access to historical evidence. Conversely, preserving every old variant indefinitely can consume the capacity needed to support the whole family.
The problem is to give each consequential reliance a supportable continuation without treating a release decision as permission to change every relationship.
