CUST.Reference:3 - Methods and Their Connections
The framework is a repertoire of related Methods, including a large immediately usable composition. CUST.1 supplies the whole customer-case continuation. CUST.2 through CUST.8 can be used independently when their problem is already bounded; they also supply developed contributions to CUST.1. Their numbers are addresses, not a compulsory production sequence.
| Current difficulty | Contribution and receiving connection |
|---|---|
| The request is expressed only as features | CUST.2 reconstructs consequential differences from the supported basis and their dependencies. CUST.1 uses them to compare complete continuations. |
| A useful local result might become common | CUST.3 constructs the family, its invariants, variation and exclusions. It can receive CUST.5 field evidence without treating a successful case as admission. |
| The family exists but selection or delivery timing is unclear | CUST.4 makes the customer’s choice meaningful and places common and customer-dependent work. The result constrains actual operating capacity and support. |
| A decision-changing premise remains unknown | CUST.5 obtains a bounded local and shared answer. The answer can narrow a promise, exclude a member or end further inquiry. |
| Repetition depends on its author | CUST.6 constructs a usable method, preparation and support, then performs the receiving connection. It can reveal a false family assumption rather than a documentation defect. |
| Growth appears attractive but its burden is unclear | CUST.7 compares complete provision over a stated population and period. The result can change the family, assistance, differentiation point or growth decision. |
| A common change affects current users | CUST.8 constructs compatible customer continuations and an attainable transition. Its result changes the family and its support burden. |
Three relations help the reader use this arrangement accurately.
Method composition connects ways of obtaining component results into a way of obtaining the whole result. In ongoing work, a selected action can enact contributions to that whole at the same time: while the field team resolves an ambiguous input, it may be performing part of the current customer delivery and part of constructing the repeatable family. The whole constrains that action: the team may use the customer’s material for authorized local work but cannot place it in a partner package when that receiving purpose is not permitted. The local action must then produce a qualified conclusion or an independently permitted example, not a copied dataset.
Use of an earlier result concerns something already obtained. A qualified semantic mapping, accounting comparison or compatibility result can be consumed without rerunning the supplying Method. Its meaning, conditions and remaining uncertainty travel with it. Changing those conditions reopens the affected use; the mere passage through another pattern does not.
A repertoire makes methods available for different situations. It does not require all of them on every occasion. CUST.7 can justify continued bespoke work with no common development. CUST.8 can manage retirement without a new field probe. A supported configuration can finish the customer case without a new family.
The large Method remains useful even when its operations are familiar. It provides the joins, simultaneous conditions, branch choices and returns that would otherwise have to be invented for each case. A list of supplying patterns does not supply those joins. Conversely, the large Method does not make every constituent necessary.
