E.12:5 - Conformance Checklist
CC-E12.1 (Rationale Mandate): Every key assurance episteme or publication, including a U.AssuranceCase or proof publication, MUST contain a non-empty, human-readable rationale that satisfies the “So What?” test. Any AssuranceLevel claim separately cites its applicable B.3.3 profile and shows that the target meets that profile’s criteria.
CC-E12.2 (Bounded inquiry trigger): A significant workflow SHOULD make consequential reader obstructions or doubtful work demands recognizable. An inquiry names the task, passage/action, prerequisites and relevant assurance boundary; a conceptual workload threshold alone is insufficient.
CC-E12.3 (Inquiry and stop): For a live trigger, apply §4.3 at a burden warranted by C.11.DUA. An actual reading inquiry preserves the initial unassisted attempt before explanation and compares any proposed alternative at unchanged task/prerequisites/assurance. Return a supported repair, no change or the exact evidence limit; qualify assistance and leave amendment authority separate.
CC-E12.4 (Didactic Primacy in DRRs): Any DRR proposing a change to a normative pattern MUST include a section analyzing its impact on cognitive ergonomics and didactic clarity.
