EXD.2:8 - Common Anti-Patterns and How to Avoid Them
| Failure | Repair |
| Using only equal-sized groups to teach why counts matter | Add an unequal-count, unequal-mean case that distinguishes the competing rules. |
| Treating one correct number as evidence of the correct relation | Ask how the quantities correspond and use a discriminating changed case. |
| Asking for free explanation when a required component is unavailable | Supply the missing component or worked correspondence, then inspect the affected use. |
| Extending an analogy through surface resemblance | State the supported relation and the consequential non-correspondence. |
