EXD.4:3 - Forces
| Force | Practical tension |
| A coherent contribution and timely correction | Enough connected content is needed for an inference, while a long uninterrupted account can hide the point at which the participants diverge. |
| Feedback and its interpretation | A signal can concern contact, perception, understanding or attitude; interpreting it too strongly can choose the wrong repair. |
| Adaptation and subject warrant | Either participant may correct the account, while an appealing contribution still needs its subject basis. |
| Helpful diagnosis and unnecessary burden | A small question may locate the difficulty; repeated checks can obstruct an already sufficient answer. |
