HRM.1:4.6 - Observe the whole and reopen the defeated premise
Examine actual provision, contribution and participant outcomes separately. Check whether mentoring occurred in available time, whether the protected schedule was respected, whether the selected person could obtain the promised tools, and whether reward followed the established terms. Satisfaction, retention, absence and output can answer different questions and should not be collapsed into one success score.
A consequential observation can reveal a mechanism without establishing a causal effect. Return a changed condition to the smallest adequate owner and follow its consumers. Preserve unrelated valid results. A changed pay date can leave capability evidence intact; changed task content can require new assessment while an existing appointment remains effective. Recurring contradictions may justify redesigning the configuration rather than correcting another isolated case.
