IS.1:2 - Problem
A sponsor can ask for adoption, a learner expect instruction, a manager expect productivity and a provider promise attendance. Each can complete what they understood while the receiving practice remains impossible.
Unclear help also creates dependence and mistrust. A person may reveal mistakes to obtain assistance while their helper uses the same information for an undisclosed performance decision. An external provider may promise a result that depends on time the customer has not allocated. A recipient can assume that the provider will make technical decisions the provider is neither qualified nor authorized to make.
The practical problem is to construct a small undertaking that makes useful help obtainable, while allowing the parties to revise an unsuitable request before consuming the larger commitment.
