IS.7:1 - Problem frame

Use this Method when a proposed practice cannot become useful through delivery of its instructions alone: what it asks people to do interacts with their professional judgement, the people receiving its effects, local work and conditions outside the team’s control. The facilitator helps the parties obtain and adapt a workable combination, retaining the evidence and limits on which each change depends.

The first useful result is an explained, obtainable response to one consequential interaction. A sufficient established implementation recipe can be used directly. If the substantive practice is unavailable or its safety cannot be judged, obtain the target profession’s contribution before attempting the dependent change.
