LDR.1:1 - Problem frame
Use this pattern when joint work needs an explanation, challenge, role conversation, allocation of help or other leadership contribution that is missing or depends on one initiator. Begin with the next piece of receiving work and ask what a participant needs to be able to do differently. The first useful result is a capable, feasible arrangement for supplying that contribution; follow it into actual performance.
For example, a reviewer needs an unsupported claim returned to its author, but a novice facilitator suppresses the objection. The missing contribution is to preserve the objection and obtain a qualified answer. It is not a general need for more inspirational leadership.
A competent current participant may already be able and authorized to help. Use that arrangement directly. If a file is inaccessible, restore access; if a technical choice is unsettled, obtain the relevant professional answer. A leadership conversation is useful when it helps obtain or use such a contribution, not as a substitute for it.
