LDR.1:2 - Problem
A title, roster or training event can be mistaken for performed leadership work. Conversely, necessary help may be left to a charismatic initiator, so it disappears when that person leaves. Introducing a mentor can fail because the mentor cannot change assignments, allocate time or provide the needed instruction.
The failure can persist even in a well-run meeting. Participants may speak freely while no one constructs the answer, accepts the whole arrangement or makes the effective decision. Selecting the missing contribution first prevents one familiar conversation form from being applied to every difficulty.
