MDPE.1:6 - Sources and Epistemic Boundaries
| Practice or source line | Contribution used here | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| American Composers Forum, Anatomy of a Commission and Sample Deal Memo | Direct commissioning practice for a selected new concert work. | It rejects one-size-fits-all use and does not settle practice or medium framing. |
| Common Ground Manual 2024 | Participatory Dance co-creation with shared direction, participant voice, named contributions, access, discussion, and revision. | One bounded human participatory-Dance Method is not universal for solo, robotic, AI, hybrid, or other Music-and-Dance projects. |
| Renata Peçanha interview, Zoukology | One practitioner account of deliberate practice change and continuity. | It is not independent whole-field evidence of origin, prevalence, recognition, or effectiveness. |
| Holly Herndon and Mat Dryhurst, The Call, Serpentine | A joined medium-and-practice case with several distinct world-side and projective subjects. | It supplies no general AI-art Method or later retention claim. |
| Pavel Sobiray, Street Tango Concept | Projective practice design plus bounded teaching and participant evidence. | The creator source does not establish whole-field recognition, superiority, or long-term retention. |
The four-subject distinction is a source-informed engineering judgement. Reopen it when a direct Method supplies the same project decision with less burden or when repeated use reveals another independent subject whose omission changes project commitment.
