MDPE.22:4.2 - Algorave needs more than live-coding software
A local group installs live-coding tools and publishes an open invitation. Few musicians perform because the venue lacks a suitable sound check, new performers cannot recover the event Method, curation favours polished prerecorded sets, and the audience cannot see the relation between code changes and sound.
The group uses the maintained Algorave guidance and local event-production Methods to compare changes in onboarding, technical rehearsal, projection, curation, and recurring scheduling. It selects a bounded arrangement: a technical rehearsal, visible code, short first sets, a curator able to return performance-relevant feedback, and a second event date announced before the first.
Record separately whether the rehearsal, curation, visible-code, event and repeat-opportunity relations obtain; whether new performers complete representative live-coding Work; and whether audience observations distinguish live generation from playback. Do not attribute any later difference to the arrangement without the causal-use result that the decision needs. Cultural continuation still requires repeated receiving and reproduction evidence.
