Enter through the costly difficulty

MDPE.8 keeps four subjects separate: the successful showcase Work, the candidate partner-coordination Method, the proposed recurring social practice, and a possible later style line. The present project concerns the recurring practice inside one twenty-minute event block. It does not concern city-wide cultural adoption.

MDPE.21 compares two materially different style-development architectures. The showcase architecture joins a rehearsed pair, live coder, screen, sound system, and spectators around a repeatable presentation. The social practice architecture joins varied pairs, partner-readable timing, a live musician, a host, floor and sound conditions, observation, later teaching, and another event opportunity. Because the intended use is partner Dance among unfamiliar participants, the team selects the social-practice architecture. Its first test concerns the relation between live musical articulation and partner-readable coordination under event sound and floor conditions.
