ME.15:5.2 - Preserve a Changed Basis of Judgment Behind the Same Map

Use the constructed contact-planning and handover-review accounts in ME.8:5.4. The maintenance decision is whether the proposed handover account is only another presentation of the contact Method or a candidate with changed reusable semantics. Recover the operations rather than comparing the two canvases.

The parent includes people with the approval or supply roles needed to arrange rollout contacts. The proposed child retains identifying roles, recording supported facts and arranging contact, but changes two operative commitments: include a role when it produces or uses information needed for the handover, regardless of approval influence; and withhold a complete-coverage conclusion while a material working dependency lacks an account or contribution. Thus a low-influence night operator can be essential to the child’s construction even when absent from a correct parent map. Changing an inclusion rule and the conditions for concluding the task is a reusable semantic change. Merely adding that operator’s name to a particular drawing, without changing the reusable rule, would not establish a variant.

Keep the parent admitted under its existing basis and maintain the child as a candidate derived from it. The child entry names the preserved operations, changed inclusion and completion rules, intended handover-review use, access to the needed work accounts, and unresolved evidence about its usefulness. The inherited canvas remains a representation choice; contact access and facilitator preparation remain separate conditions. Retaining the proposal for a future choice can finish this maintenance task without admitting the child or commissioning a trial.

Evidence is transferred claim by claim. Suppose a parent observation established that the day lead’s name and the IT contact details were correct in a stated window. Those exact facts may still serve the child if current; the original observation and its scope remain unchanged. A parent observation of rapid approval coordination does not establish that the child covers receiving work, finds missing handover contributions, or improves the handover. The constructed replay in ME.8 supplies an intelligibility check, not those performance claims. Missing access to the night or relief operator’s working account leaves that coverage claim open.

A later change to the canvas alone returns to its representation owner. A change to the working-dependency inclusion rule or the unresolved-dependency stop reopens the affected child semantics, description and selection claims. If the handover use is retired while approval-contact planning remains useful, retire that use of the child entry and preserve the parent and historical derivation. A common name or graphical form does not collapse those dispositions.
