ME.16:8 - Common Anti-Patterns and How to Avoid Them

| “We trained everyone and rolled out the Method.” | Name the actual training or development result, introduction Work, later Work, and every unobserved position. |
| “The tool was available, so the Method was used.” | Recover actual performer Work, enacted Method, direct tool-use relation, and result. |
| “Management sponsored it, so the team was authorized.” | Recover assignment, permission or authority, Agent basis, and scope separately. |
| “Results improved after launch, so the Method caused them.” | State timing, alternatives, covarying changes, contribution basis, and residual uncertainty. |
| “Several projects used it, so the culture adopted it.” | Use ME.17 only when a named cultural relation and population evidence exist. |
