NSTD.3:8 - Common Anti-Patterns and How to Avoid Them

| Fluent but unsupported explanation | A passage invites an explanation that its source does not support. | Supply the missing connection, qualify it or return to the unresolved source question. |
| Causal overstatement | The narrative claims more about the cause than the grounds support. | State the supported causal strength; use C.28 when its causal-use question needs work. Chronology is not a substitute causal explanation. |
