Comparing relation support

ObservationNext useful move
Events are easy to retell but the needed relation is supplied only by a suggestive connector.Find and express the missing basis or change the claim.
The relation is named but its conditions remain unclear.State the condition that changes the reader’s inference.
The reader reconstructs the relation and its relevant limits.Keep it for that use; investigate a remaining uncertainty only when its answer can change the next move.
A change of viewpoint or order may conceal the relation.Compare the changed passage and repair the particular loss.

These are diagnostic situations. Use NSTD.6 for a qualified evaluation rather than deriving a score from the presence of a support record.
