PSD.1:8 - Common Anti-Patterns and How to Avoid Them

Anti-patternRepair
“First agree what the problem is.”Preserve materially different formulations and ask which receiving decision each would change.
“The client is the decision maker.”Separate recipient, holder, choice owner, and authority basis; name any supported coincidence.
“Run the workshop and the scope will emerge.”State the intended return and provisional boundary before choosing the workshop Method.
“The model says option A, so that is the decision.”Keep model result, recommendation, authority, and later ChoiceResult separate.
“We need every stakeholder before we can start.”Return a bounded current question and use PSD.2 to expose which missing participant or concern can change it.
“This is only advice, so authority does not matter.”State who may prepare, receive, rely on, and choose whenever those differences change use or consequences.
“Use PSD.1 as stage one of every engagement.”Bypass it when the receiving question and authority boundary are already adequate and another result is the live gap.
