RMP.8:7 - Conformance Checklist

Use these questions to examine the revised account and return:

  • Do the earlier assertion, supplied contribution and claimed correction concern the same identified subject, context, comparison and time, or explicitly distinguished ones?
  • Is each retained, narrowed, qualified, rejected or added contribution supported to the extent stated?
  • Have affected model outputs or explanations been reconciled while unaffected contributions remain usable?
  • Can the recipient recover the current answer, its basis, uncertainty and the limitation that changes reliance?
  • Has a known consequential receiving use received the permitted correction, or is the exact unfinished return visible?
  • Are obtained evidence, proposed inquiry and the receiver’s decision authority distinct?
  • When a Method contribution is returned for repetition or adaptation, can its recipient recover the substantive problem-solution account, the relevant examination and its means, independently of the chosen publication layout and language?

The working situation selects this Method. These questions examine the warranted content and actual return; recognizing a need for revision proves neither.
