SOM.2:4.1 - Construct an accessible contrast
Select two already available, comfortable variants of one task-relevant change. Vary the support, intended direction or amount only as needed to make the contrast accessible. Keep other conditions alike where possible; note any changes that could explain the difference.
Compare the first variant, the second and a return to the first. Attend to what changes during the action and after release. The return helps distinguish the proposed contrast from an unfamiliar one-time event.
In familiar writing, compare the usual pen hold with a slightly lighter hold while the forearm rests in its usual supported position. Return to the usual hold. Do not deliberately increase load to obtain a stronger sensation.
