STR.2:2 - Problem

Strategy often relies on premises that are not written as assumptions. A sales plan may assume that buyers will renew at the old price. A service promise may assume that trained staff remain available. A licensing option may depend on a right whose status is unresolved.

Teams can overreact to a visible signal or miss an important one. They redesign everything after a price movement, preserve a preferred direction despite a broken capability premise, or update a source link while leaving the affected comparison unchanged.

A reference list alone cannot show the reach. A receiving decision may use an equivalent premise without citing its source, while a document that mentions the source may not rely on the changed claim at all.
