SYSE.21:0.1 - Precision Restoration

Name in this patternWhat it denotes
Systems Engineering DisciplineA U.Discipline established through C.20. When that result is unavailable, the pattern uses Systems Engineering as a discipline-facing label and states the bounded practice population directly.
Systems Engineering cultureAn ordinary phrase for a bounded cultural-evolution case concerning identified Methods, Work, practitioner Agents, carriers, and supported cultural relations.
practitioner populationAgents selected by a stated inclusion rule for one place, period, engineering profile, and claim. A roster is an episteme describing this population.
enacted Method variantAn identified U.Method enacted by representative dated Work in the population and period. Its MethodDescription and public labels are separate epistemes.
carrierAn identified System, episteme, or publication bearer used in a stated transmission, memory, mediation, or evidence relation. State the bearer’s kind and relation.
variant generationWork or another grounded occurrence that produces or differentiates a Method, MethodDescription, arrangement, or other variant. Production of a description establishes that episteme; Method identity is established separately.
transmissionA relation by which a variant or its description becomes available to another Agent or population. Receiving enactment requires later Work.
receiving enactmentWork by a receiving Agent that enacts the identified Method under applicable conditions.
recognitionA supported relation through which an Agent or population treats a variant as distinguishable and relevant to a use.
cultural selectionLater relations showing that Agents in the population choose, reproduce, or transmit one variant during the stated period.
memoryBearers and use relations through which later Agents can recover and apply the variant.
retentionRepeated later enactment or reproduction in the population, with the carriers and conditions needed for continuation.
lossA bounded cessation claim about an earlier variant, carrier, relation, or capability in the named population and period.
practice-change decision recordAn episteme recording an authorized project choice among admitted continuation alternatives. Later intervention Work and effects are separate occurrences and claims.

Use the applicable cultural-evolution pattern for claims beyond these entries.

An Agent performs Work. For example, an engineering repository stores descriptions and examples, an AI Agent can perform bounded Work when it has the needed agency and capability, and a standard or description states claims. State each participant’s relation to the cultural claim.
